Trip Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly representative from Lumika African Safari will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. In the evening, meet your safari guide for a briefing about the upcoming adventure. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind at leisure.

Day 1: Arusha → Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, set off for Lake Manyara National Park, a gem known for its tree-climbing lions, vibrant flamingo colonies, and more than 400 bird species. The park’s varied landscapes—ranging from lush groundwater forests to open grasslands—are home to elephants, giraffes, antelopes, hippos, and playful troops of monkeys. Later, transfer to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park

Today, journey through the scenic highlands of Karatu and descend into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The park offers unrivaled game viewing, dotted with iconic kopjes and teeming with wildlife, including seasonal migrations of wildebeest and zebra. Day 3: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle also graze across the plains. After lunch, continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim in time to enjoy spectacular sunset views.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha

Enjoy a full morning game drive across the crater floor, followed by a picnic lunch in this extraordinary setting.
