Day 0: Arrival in Tanzania
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly representative from Lumika African Safari will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. In the evening, meet your safari guide for a briefing about the upcoming adventure. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind at leisure.
Day 1: Arusha → Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, set off for Lake Manyara National Park, a gem known for its tree-climbing lions, vibrant flamingo colonies, and more than 400 bird species. The park’s varied landscapes—ranging from lush groundwater forests to open grasslands—are home to elephants, giraffes, antelopes, hippos, and playful troops of monkeys. Later, transfer to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Lake Manyara → Serengeti National Park
Today, journey through the scenic highlands of Karatu and descend into the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of the Ngorongoro Crater before entering the vast Serengeti plains. The park offers unrivaled game viewing, dotted with iconic kopjes and teeming with wildlife, including seasonal migrations of wildebeest and zebra. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive before retiring to your camp for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Seronera region, one of the Serengeti’s best wildlife hotspots, where lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam in search of prey. Herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle also graze across the plains. After lunch, continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving at the crater rim in time to enjoy spectacular sunset views.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eden of Africa.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site shelters over 25,000 large animals within its natural enclosure, including the famous Big Five. Enjoy a full morning game drive across the crater floor, followed by a picnic lunch in this extraordinary setting. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, where your safari adventure comes to an end.
